I want to build a genuine relationship with each family I photograph & tell your story the truest way I can. But first, I think it’s fair I let you in & share a bit of mine.

THIS WAS THEN…

I grew up in Honduras where I met my husband. We didn’t officially meet until college but we had been in the same room together way before then.

See that girl in the floral shorts, that’s me, and the cutie standing in the corner, that’s my husband, Ricardo. We didn’t remember each other from that day but having this picture of the both of us from before we even knew what was in store, means the world to me.

Fast forward several, several years from when that picture was taken and you can find us living in Brooklyn with our almost 3 year old son, Santi. They are my WHY.

I tend to overshare so I’ll try to keep this short.

The first thing you should know about me is that I’ve always known I wanted to be a mom. I’ve liked being around babies since I can remember. So it came as a surprise to me when I had a hard time adjusting to my new life as a stay-at-home mom & struggling to breastfeed. Those first few months are a blur and I don’t have many pictures to help keep those memories fresh in my mind. Because yes, motherhood can be chaotic - whether it’s your first baby and you feel like you don’t know what you are doing or you have 4 kids and you are trying to hide in the bathroom - you will want to remember it.

Once I felt more like myself I picked up my husbands camera (he’s a photographer as well) because I knew I wanted to remember this season of our life and keep it forever. I want to capture the joy in our everyday life and for Santi to have photos he can one day share with his kids and I really want you and your family to have the same.

I love to create the opportunity for authentic smiles & natural reactions. I’ll provide the space for you to be you and your kids, well, to be kids. I see beauty in the chaos & unexpected - the climbing & jumping off of everything, the running around, the shy moments, the high energy moments - I love to capture it all.

I’m not just a photographer that shows up, snaps a few pics & goes on her way and, most importantly, you are not just a client to me. We can swap birth stories or the ups & downs of parenting and by the end of it, we’ll be friends.
